Francesca Williams is currently a junior at Novato High School and a first-year journalist for The Swarm newspaper. She was born in Santa Rosa, California and has lived in Sonoma County her whole life and currently resides in Petaluma with her mother, younger sister, and many animals. She commutes to Novato for school every morning for the MSA program of which she is in the creative writing program. Since a young age she has enjoyed writing in several different mediums of which stems from a love of media and the factors presented inside of media. Recently, she won a first place and a third place award at the Marin County fair in 2018 and earlier last year was voted as a flash fiction (short story) finalist by her classmates. She has an overwhelming amount of possible career ideas and simply hopes that overall something will work out for her in the future that will allow her to stretch her many ideas out into the world for others to see.
